Repair Policy

Repair Disclaimer

  1. Repairs will be carried out strictly in accordance with the agreed scope of work authorised by the customer.
  2. Any faults, defects, or worn components identified but not approved for repair or replacement will remain the customer’s responsibility.
  3. While we take all reasonable care and skill in carrying out repairs, no warranty is provided on components that have not been repaired or replaced.
  4. The customer is responsible for ensuring the bike (scooter) is safe to use, including carrying out appropriate checks before riding.
  5. We cannot accept responsibility for issues arising from misuse, normal wear and tear, or faults outside the agreed scope of work after the bicycle has been collected.

Tyres, Tubes & Consumables

  1. Tyres, inner tubes, brake pads, chains and similar components are considered consumable items and are subject to normal wear and tear.
  2. Punctures or air loss can occur due to road conditions, debris, rim or tyre condition, and are not covered under any workmanship warranty.
  3. Where tyres or tubes are replaced or refitted as part of a repair, our responsibility is limited to correct installation.
  4. We cannot guarantee against future punctures or failures caused by external factors or the condition of associated components (e.g. worn tyres, rims, or rim tape).

Tyre Removal & Refitting (Tight-Fit Tyres / Scooters)

  1. Certain tyres, particularly on electric scooters and tight-fitting wheel assemblies, require significant force and specialised tools to remove and refit.
  2. While we take all reasonable care, this process may result in minor cosmetic marks such as scratches or scuffs to rims, hubs, or surrounding components.
  3. By authorising this work, the customer acknowledges and accepts the risk of such minor cosmetic damage as part of the repair process.
  4. Minor cosmetic marking that may occur during tyre or tube removal/refitting, especially on tight or solid tyres, will not be considered damage arising from negligence, provided reasonable care has been taken.

Condition of Product & Related Faults

  1. The product presented for repair may contain worn, aged, or damaged components. While we will carry out the agreed repairs with reasonable care and skill, we cannot guarantee the overall reliability of the product beyond the specific work undertaken.
  2. Additional faults may become apparent during or after repair, particularly where components are worn or near the end of their service life. These are not related to our workmanship.
  3. Repairs to one component may place additional stress on other existing parts, which may subsequently fail. Such failures are not covered unless directly caused by our workmanship.
  4. We will advise where, in our opinion, other components are worn or may require attention; however, if these are not approved for repair or replacement, responsibility remains with the customer.

Limited Workmanship Warranty

  1. We warrant that all repair work carried out by our workshop will be completed with reasonable care and skill.
  2. If a fault arises as a direct result of our workmanship within [14 days] of collection, we will inspect the product and, where applicable, rectify the issue at no additional labour cost.
  3. This warranty applies only to the specific work performed and does not cover:
    a. normal wear and tear
    b. misuse, accidents, or lack of maintenance
    c. faults in parts not repaired or replaced by us
    d. manufacturer defects in components (which remain subject to the manufacturer’s warranty, if applicable)
  4. Any claim under this warranty must be reported within the stated period and the product be returned for our inspection.
  5. Our warranty applies only to faults directly caused by our repair work and not to the general condition of the product.
